Why UAWF is Needed:
Millions of animals are abandoned, abused, or exploited each year. Whether it’s an animal left behind during a natural disaster, a dog rescued from a puppy mill, or wildlife threatened by habitat loss, animals need a voice. UAWF is here to be that voice—to advocate for their rights, provide them with second chances, and educate the public about the importance of animal welfare.

Stopping Puppy Mills: The first step is to stop supporting puppy mills. Never buy a puppy from a pet store. For some people it is sometimes an impulse purchase. Visit your local shelter or rescue, a few times, spend time with the pup your interested in.
